My original purpose of launching this blog was for note-taking.
I needed a simple way to take notes, and I hoped this way was independent of any note-taking app so that it can be easily interpreted decades or even a hundred years later. Plain text is a perfect choice.
I also needed a lightweight markup language to give some helpful format to my notes. Markdown is a good choice.
Later, I found Jekyll, which can easily transform plain text into static websites and blogs. So why not publishing my notes as blog posts. It has many benefits: My notes may help other guys, and I may get some helpful feedback from my readers.
Share a sentence I like very much:
Notes are the content you write on the margins of the pages of the book; they are the comments, excerpts, and random feelings you read.
